Dentistry
Dental radiology allows examination below the gum
line. This patient had no outward signs of any tooth pathology during a
routine dental cleaning. However, radiographs revealed an abscess involving
both roots of the molar. Note bone loss around the roots.

Did you know that 65% of your pet's tooth lives below
the gum line? We are equipped with digital dental radiology allowing us to
fully assess your pet's entire dental heath and properly formulate a
treatment plan. In addition, we can quickly send images to boarded
veterinary dentists if
needed.
Should any advanced endodontic or periodontic procedures be needed,
arrangements can be made for such procedures to be performed at Pacific
Northwest Veterinary Hospital by the boarded veterinary dentist.
